The RMMVX series, with its 8 –12 contacts of C/O type, are fast, reliable and high-performance triggering relays, suitable for applications in particularly harsh and unstable environments, such as high-voltage electrical distribution stations and medium-voltage substations.

Typical applications:

Interfaces between protection or automation systems and high-voltage/medium-voltage circuit breakers, alarm transmission and very fast triggering.

Switching time < 8 ms.

The “High Burden” (HB) configuration ensures immunity to capacitive discharge currents, thus preventing the triggering of the relay in the event of transients originating, for example, from a long cable length.

The contacts are designed to offer high performance for both high inductive loads and very low loads. Each contact is a switch, switching from 10 mA to 10 V, even without gold plating.

The knurled surface provides an excellent self-cleaning effect, lower ohmic resistance thanks to the different electrical contact points, and improves the electrical life of the component.

Typical mains of application are power stations, electrical transformer stations, fixed railway equipment or industries using continuous production processes (chemical and petrochemical, rolling mills, cement works, etc.).
