The UTM unit is a static delay module designed for applications requiring a delay on pickup (UTME) or on dropout (UTMR). These units can be used to control an external instantaneous relay requiring a delay. There are 2 outputs available with a maximum rated capacity of 6 W:

- One time-delayed output

- One instantaneous output

The UTM unit offers high reliability thanks to the use of an electronic circuit requiring a small number of components and the selection of professional-quality products. On pickup or on dropout timing, switching time selectable from 0.1 s to over 9 hours, with extreme accuracy across the entire scale and high resolution. Two DIP switch selectors for user settings. The module's construction and careful choice of materials ensure a long service life and considerable robustness, even in harsh operating environments subject to severe thermal shocks. The electronic circuitry is highly immune to the electromagnetic interference typical of high-voltage substations.
