The RV series (6 changeover contacts) triggering relays (fast) are designed and built using materials and solutions that provide excellent long-life and robustness specifications:
- Suitable for use in harsh operating environments.
The RV LV16 is suitable for:
- Interfaces between protection or automation systems and high-voltage/medium-voltage circuit breakers, for the transmission of alarms and very fast triggering. - Multiplication of triggering contacts.
4 models: 6 contacts available in 4 configurations (6 NO, 4 NO + 2 NC, 3 NO + 3 NC, 2 NO + 4 NC). Switching time < 6 ms (including bounce). Equipped with magnetic blow-out, these relays have a high capacity for interruption in DC loads. The common contact is mounted on a separate return device, comprising a flexible blade designed to ensure uniform pressure on the break contacts. The excellent electrical and mechanical performance of these relays allows them to be used in the most demanding mains, such as:
- Control and signalling functions in power stations
- High-voltage and medium voltage substations
- Rail transport
- Industries with production processes operating in continuous mode.
Can be connected to a permanent or pulsed power supply. High immunity to electromagnetic disturbances typical of high-voltage substations.
