Advancing safety in nuclear power plants: our new Case Study concerning our power monitors
At Chauvin Arnoux Energy, we are delighted to be able to share our latest Case Study devoted to use of our power monitors in nuclear environments. This document highlights our response to the challenges raised by the Open Phase Condition (OPC) project led by EDF, with the integration of our flagship solution, the Enerium 50.
To overcome the risks of electrical unbalances which may compromise the safety of nuclear plants, we have designed a tailored solution for monitoring inverse voltages. After validation on a pilot site, the Enerium 50 is now being rolled out across all the nuclear power plants in France.
Our commitment doesn't stop there: we have also developed advanced functions to meet EDF's specific needs, such as reinforced IT security, customized alarms and an optimized user interface.
